#187 – Oilers Bracelet

The nice thing about crafting is that it’s always okay to come back to old interests. Every once in a blue moon, my brothers will ask me if I can make something specific for them. My answer is almost always yes! In this case, it was a bracelet with sports-themed colours!

  • 1 strand of embroidery floss at 60 inches each (Colour A: Blue)
  • 2 strands of embroidery floss at 60 inches each (Colour B: White)
  • 1 strand of embroidery floss at 60 inches each (Colour C: Orange)

Like I’ve mentioned before, this website is a gold mine for friendship bracelets. There is a wealth of patterns, and you can probably find the stitch diagram for any design you want! I didn’t make any alterations to this pattern, other than picking the right colours to match with the Edmonton Oilers.

They say that if you never take it off and wear a friendship bracelet until it falls off naturally, you can make a wish after! Have you ever kept a bracelet on that long? I’m kind of fussy and play with jewelry a lot, so I’ve never done it personally, but my brothers have! It’s cool knowing that they have a little piece of me with them every day.

Until net time, happy crafting!
