#156 – Custom Notebook

A few weeks about, I wrote about the custom coloured ink I got to make in Tokyo, and now I’m going to write about the custom notebook I got to make at the sister shop!

  • Notebook covers and coil
  • Filler pages (lined, graph, grid)

When I walked into the shop, I couldn’t stop smiling. There were cubbies full of a variety of cover designs, different weights of the paper inserts, and just overall everything a stationary loving person could want. You can choose absolutely everything about your notebook, from the type of coil, style of coil, cover, fasteners, paper types, dividers, and more. I ended up going with this floral print cover, just because I felt like there was something timeless about it. It also coordinated so well with the bronze finishes that I picked out for the finishes. Suffice it to say, I’m in love.

Now, the only question remaining is what I want to use this notebook for. It’s too pretty for me to feel comfortable using it as a commonplace notebook to collect random thoughts, but too special for it to be left to collect dust. I have so many half-filled notebooks cluttering my room, and I know I need to start tackling those. Even though I have so many notebooks already, I find it so hard to say no to buying more. It’s probably one of my flaws that I can’t resist cute stationary. Maybe this notebook will be used for planning future projects!

Until next time, happy crafting!
