Big deal alert: I finally took the plunge and needle felted something. I’ve had the tool for two years now, and only ever really used it for a few yarn joins here and there. Before I sent off the lamb lovey, I decided that it needed a face after all. As a quick summary, it was way easier than I thought it would be, but I definitely need more practice to make it look less creepy.

This summer, I’ve been doing a lot of babysitting, and something that I love is being able to do crafts with these little ones as they get older and have better fine motor control! One of the parents has been doing a great job of providing craft kits and other fun games, and I think these sewing kits are my new favourite.
#28 – Postcard Panda
I’m an old-fashioned kind of girl. For example, I like using an actual planner instead of my phone, I try to send as much snail mail as possible and I LOVE the idea of postcards. When I saw this little DIY panda as part of a postcard, I knew I had to give it a try!
