#150 – Halloween Tsum Tsum

My friend actually brought this back for me from Asia last year, and I just missed the timing to post about it during Halloween, so here we are now in 2018! Isn’t this little Pumpkin Tsum Tsum so precious?

  • 1 Disney Tsum Tsum Crochet Collection No. 16 kit
  • 2.00 mm hook

Kit by Disney at Hachette Collections Japan

The kit comes with everything you’ll need to finish your amigurumi, including fiberfill, weighted beads, yarn, felt, and embroidery thread. It even comes with a picture guide and step-by-step instructions for the assembly. The only caveat is that the entire guide is in Japanese, so I would recommend using Google Translate’s picture recognition ability to help you out. There’s also a stitch diagram, so if you don’t have a translator, at least you’ll still be able to follow the shape and pattern for the actual pumpkin.

I was a bit lazy, so I didn’t actually do the sewed “ridges” of the pumpkin that the kit recommends, but I was thoroughly impressed with everything else in the kit. The included felt has a built in sticky side, so you just measure and cut, and voila!

This was a lovely way to get into the Halloween spirit, and also to wrap up my Japan trip! It’s nice to finally be back home after so many weeks away. I’ll hopefully have some new things to share with you on this blog in the next few posts.

Until next time, happy crafting!
