#126 – Baby Mike Wazowski (Monsters Inc.)

Lately I’ve been feeling a bit stressed out, and sometimes you just need a little bit of nostalgia and whimsy to get you through. I’ve been re-watching Disney movies, and I figured making a tribute crochet piece would be just the thing!

I didn’t have any felt handy, so I replaced it with a crochet circle. I started with six stitches using the magic circle technique, and then continued to do the typical increase until there was eighteen stitches. One of these days, I will invest in some felt though, as it seems to be quite popular for detailing on amigurumi projects.

This was a quick and easy project, and it came out quite cute! It definitely did brighten up my day. I’ve been feeling overwhelmed with my placement, and there just seems to be a never ending list of things that I want to accomplish. Still, I am endlessly grateful for the support my family and friends provide me, and of course for a God that gives me the strength and wisdom to make it through. Having crochet as a hobby devinitely helps too. What do you like to do to destress?

Until next time, happy crafting!
