#119 – Huddy Buddies

I’ve always been in awe about how many powerful and inspirational women take their passion for crafting and turn it into a viable business. When I heard that Mekaila, the boss behind Huddy Buddies, was looking for someone to help with crochet work, I jumped at the opportunity.

I’ve always joked with my friends that my crochet-dream-job would be to work for someone else’s business so that I can be paid to crochet, without the stress of having to market and run a business. This meant that Mekaila’s offer was a dream come true! On top of that, her designs are so cute! I’ve really enjoyed working on them the past few weeks.

She sells boots for babies, children, and adult women, so I definitely encourage you to check it out! Everyone can use a new pair of boots when they’re this cute, right?

My favourite part about this whole process has been the inspiration that I’ve gotten from Mekaila! It isn’t easy to balance a family, work, and a side hustle, but Mekaila does an amazing job. There are so many different opportunities out there that I never would have imagined when I was younger, so to see real life people executing these dreams is so cool.

Until next time, happy crafting!
