This summer, I’ve been working with some international students visiting from China, and it’s really helped to remind me of how blessed I am to live in Canada! I asked one of them what their favourite things about Canada was, and their reply was “the sky”. That made me pause for a second, as I’ve never even considered what it would be like to live in a city that is constantly dealing with smog or air pollution. In tribute to that, I wanted to try make a little amigurumi star, since that’s my favourite part of the sky!

The only thing I changed this time around was the placement of the eyes! I thought that keeping the eyes at the front of the star just helped give it a friendlier, happier look.
I hope you guys like this cute pattern too! I hope it serves as a reminder of how beautiful the sky is, and how lucky we are to have such a beautiful world. Happy crafting!
