I’m not sure if anyone has actually ever picked up on this, but my Inspiration posts typically run on the third Tuesday of each month. I screwed up this month, but I think the thoughtfulness of this week more than makes up for this late post! This was inspired by the project that Justine at Chubby Knots is working on, as she is trying to send 500 toys to Syrian refugee children living in Lebanon this Christmas.

#66 – Mini Octopus

Confession: I’m supposed to be studying for my finals this week, but when I saw this mini octopus amigurumi, I couldn’t resist making it. It’s just so cute! I told myself that the mini size just meant that it would take less time, and besides, I deserved a study break! I’m not sure if I really do deserve a study break, but at least now I have a cute study buddy!

#64 – Winnie the Pooh Tsum Tsum

A definite perk of babysitting is getting to play with all their toys, and one of the cutest toys out there are Disney Tsum Tsums! Some of the families that I babysit have quite the collection, and I’ve always had the itch to start my own collection. Since one of my favourite stories growing up were the Winnie-the-Pooh stories, it was a no-brainer for what I wanted my first Tsum Tsum to be. My best friend suggested that I try make a crochet version, and I figured I’d give it a try!
