Confession: I don’t actually drink coffee. Everyone likes to kid about drinking coffee non-stop in university, especially for a graduate program, but the smell of coffee just doesn’t appeal to me, much less the taste of it. Still, since I do drink tea (and hot chocolate!) I figured I could still use a nice coffee sleeve, and the heart seemed perfect for Valentine’s Day!

To make the heart a little cleaner, I used ten double crochet in a magic ring to start off rather than chaining three. This made a little circle shape in the center of the heart! I didn’t make any other changes this time, but I could see future projects making different coffee sleeves using a different stitch than the half-double crochet! For example, I think the herringbone half-double crochet would look beautiful here, and that’s the stitch I used for my RENÉE crop top!
I hope you guys all had an amazing Valentine’s Day with your loved ones, whether that means friends, family or that special someone. Until next time, happy crafting!
