I stumbled upon this pattern through Instagram probably a year ago, and it’s been a slow journey to get to the point where I’ve actually been able to read the pattern, follow the steps, and make them! I’ve been posting the different techniques I’ve learned in dribs and drabs, so I feel like you are already familiar with these socks, but just bear with me one more time. One of my babysitting kids asked me if I could teach her how to crochet amigurumi the other day, and while I tried my best to show her, this kit was a bit out of her skill level. I ended up completing the Twilight Sparkle doll for her, but I hope it still brings her a lot of happiness.

This was the first time that I’ve ever been asked to make something based on a picture of a real pet! I ended up purchasing a pattern to use for a French Bulldog, and then adjusted the colours to match the real life dog.
