#85 – Chipmunk Head

Whenever I go camping, I always see chipmunks, so even though they’re not “Canadian” the same way a beaver or a loon is, there’s something about chipmunks that echoes nature and Canada to me.

Originally, I intended to present to you a whole amigurumi, but I’ve been having a lot of trouble shaping the body the way I want it. I’ll keep tackling it though, and hopefully I can share it with you soon! For now, here is the head.

Here is one of my chipmunk inspirations! I named him Fatty because of his chubby cheeks and habit of hanging around picnic tables. It’s kind of crazy how acclimatized they are to humans, which may not be a good thing, now that I’m thinking about it.

Until next time, happy crafting!
