#70 – Star Jars

I was feeling quite nostalgic this week, so I thought I’d throw it back to something I used to do a lot in elementary school! My friends and I used to fold origami stars a lot, and when we got a little older, we realized that if we filled glass jars with them, they made for excellent gifts and decor!

  • 50 strips of paper 2cm wide and 30cm long
  • 1 glass container

I found a quick YouTube tutorial on how to make the stars, but I promise it’s one of the easiest things to make!

A cute twist to put on this craft is to write a message or wish on the strip of paper before folding it up, so that when you give it to someone, it has even more meaning! I find that these jars look cute on a shelf, but they can also function as bookends!

Until next time, happy crafting!
