#59 – Mini Shark

As you should all know by now, I am a huge fan of birthdays. When the boy I babysit regularly proudly told me that he was turning six this year, I told him that he could pick any animal he wanted, and I would make a present for him. Like any self-respecting boy who is a five-about-to-be-six-year old, he chose a shark.

I had a lot of doubts about the sharkiness of this little guy, as he doesn’t exactly look terrifying and awe-inspiring. I think that the large eyes make it difficult for him to look threatening and I may have made him a tad too chubby as well. Still, he grew on me, and now I have accepted that he is just a very friendly shark.

I know that he’s off to a good home, and hope that he brings his new owner lots of love and luck. If you’d like to have a little shark of your own to love and care for, this shark has just been listed on my Etsy shop!  Until next time, happy crafting!
